Her Inner Beauty is an all encompassing business set to nurture & encourage women of all ages to embrace their inner self by promoting truth, modesty, class, & sophistication; the makings of a Godly Woman! Our Founder Bijan Mejia came up with this concept by recognizing woman whom she found to be beautiful from within, giving them beauty services free of charge & asking a series of questions to promote their inner beauty. This idea then formed into a website with her personal transparent journal entries, blog post of inspiring phenomenal women, & a business where she books speaking engagements, & freelance makeup!
Bijan’s idea opened many doors for her to use her gifts to serve a diverse group of women, such as domestic abuse survivors at the Jenesse Center alongside Tatiana Rodgers, Founder of Miss Rodgers’ Hood, & teen moms at St. Anne’s. She became the Coordinator of hair/makeup for CEO Chinyere Christy’s House of Yere annual charity fashion show, became Head of Hair/Makeup on the set of a short film entitled “Jack’s” produced by Paquita Hughes (written & ran by an all-woman crew), features on Zola & Junebug Weddings wedding-inspiration blogs, & have embarked on a public speaking journey to youth girls /mothers about the importance of possessing qualities that exude inner beauty. Today, she now has a network of Small Business Owners & Non-Profits that work in collaboration with HER INNER BEAUTY to inspire the youth & women, all in hopes to give back something meaningful to their communities.
it is her desire to invigorate minds & souls that beauty is not contingent on outer appearance but inner acceptance of one’s uniqueness found in our Lord & Savior Jesus the Christ. By Bijans devotion to God, she is strengthened to use her voice to be a blessing & a positive force for this generation. Life has not always been easy but through test and trials, Bijan has learned obedience is better than sacrifice! With all that she has gone through she counts it an honor to share her testimony & encourage others that they too can hope for a bright future & prosperous end. currently bijan is developing a nonprofit that help clean up our communities to creates opportunities for the less fortunate.
