LaShae De’Lana Creator/Founder of Mom Talk Network & The Powder Room Show

Hey Boss Ladies! My name is LaShae De’ Lana and I’m the Creator and Founder of Mom Talk Network and The Powder Room Show. Mom Talk Network was birthed after the demise of my marriage. After dealing with infidelity, abuse of all types, money stolen (both accounts wiped out from my ex) and my ex-husband having a child in our marriage I decided it was time for a change and filed for divorce. I had opened my heart to my ex-husband by remarrying him to give my family a chance, but things seemed to get even worse than before. I even started to change into an ugly person, that I didn’t like.

This is when I realized that I needed to do better for myself and walked away. Once I got the courage to walk away, I had no one there to hold me back from my dreams and my God given calling. That’s also when I found out about my own inner beauty that was suppressed. Ibegin to love me and appreciate my own quirkiness. I was walking in confidence and my self-esteem was no longer shot.

Once the dark cloud was released from my life, God showed me the beautiful flower (woman) I always was, and I wanted to make sure I shared that with every single mom around me. Especially the Single Moms who went thru hell like I did with my ex. I wanted to make a difference in the Single Mom Community because that’s who I am now (a Single Mom). I had something to prove to myself and society, that my testimony of what I been through was not going to hold me back. Society assumes that single moms will be on welfare their whole lives and really make nothing of themselves.

I had to prove them wrong; but I also had to prove my dark inner thoughts wrong. I always wanted to be a talk show host since I was a little girl. I thought to create a talk show for the real women whose reality wasn’t like “reality” TV. No drivers, $100 lunches every day, nannies, personal trainers, and million-dollar homes. I wanted to give the everyday single mom hope to a better life by sharing how God brought me through, but also by showing them that “WE CAN TOO”, and using my own life as an example.

The Powder Room Show: The Single Mom’s Getaway is a show that a single mom can watch and just take a break from their hard-everyday life. Its for the Single Mom who’s going back to school, who’s starting a business and who just need some extra encouragement (and laughs) from their currently rough situation. Mom Talk Network was created for all single moms, married moms and women in general to have and allow their own Shows/YouTube Channels to be featured to the public. It’s a community that is created by myself and my Business partner Tekira Briscoe to feature future boss women on their way to the top.

Mom Talk Network is starting out on YouTube but will be so much bigger than that. We eventually want to reach our communities via our local TV stations (that’s our goal, in God’s timing). In the meantime, I will continue to encourage with every show I do for now and the future, to Single Moms all around the World, that nothing can stop God’s plan for their lives. No ex-husband, no abuser and no devil! This is our time ladies and with God, there’s nothing impossible for us to accomplish, and there is no dream impossible either.

So, remember ladies to never hide our inner beauty, wear it loud and proud. You never know who you will be inspired by your story.
